Sports Events Capital of the World

Published by admin on Tagged Sports tourism, News & updates

I am referring to London, of course. As the world’s attention is drawn to Wimbeldon and its ongoing Tennis drama, other sports events are brewing there. A quick search at Sports Events 365′ search engine for upcoming sports events lists 19 events on the next 30 days. Besides the Tennis tickets you were all looking for, you can also find here London sports tickets to other popular events such as Cricket, Rugby, Athletics and FOOTBALL.The Wembley Cup, which is the nearest football event in London, is promising to be of high interest. It features 4 clubs, so different from each other, and all with their devoted fans and special atmosphere. So, get ready to watch the European Champion Barcelona FC, the local Tottenham Hotspur, the hot Scots from Celtic FC and the Egyptian champion Al-Ahly. All packed up into two days of action.Following the Wembley Cup is the Emirates Cup, hosted by Arsenal FC. And then the Premiership starts its new season. That’s why I feel London IS the Sports Events Capital of the World. Whenever you’re there, and if you’re a sports fan, there is always something exciting going on in London.

Premiership Fixtures and Tickets

Published by admin on Tagged Sports tourism, News & updates

We are lucky. The Premiership, best football league in the world, starts every year at mid August. Why are we lucky? Because it’s our VACATION TIME and we can go to England, buy our London sports tickets, and enjoy ourselves watching some of the best football in the world. Since London offers 5 football clubs, some of them top clubs in global standards, there is a very good chance to watch two matches in one weekend, without ever leaving the tube zone. Another agreeable thought is that staying in the UK supposed to be a bit cheaper than it used to be, due to their economic fall. You can have the satisfaction of knowing you do a good thing when you spend money there! Here is a short list of things to do for sports lovers while in the UK in August. Mind you, I have to mention the Emirates Cup and the FA Community Shield before we jump in to the deeps of the new Premiership Season:

·         Tottenham Hotspur vs. Liverpool, August 15, 2009

·         Everton vs. Arsenal, August 15, 2009

·         West ham vs. Tottenham Hotspur (Derby match), August 22, 2009

·         Liverpool vs. Aston Villa, August 22, 2009

·         Chelsea vs. Burnley (First time in 33 years at the top division), August 29, 2009

·         Manchester United vs. Arsenal, August 29, 2009

And that’s just a selection from a much wider choice. Other options for sports fun at the UK are, of course, Cricket and Rugby. I know very little of these sports, so I’ll leave you to search for yourselves at Sports Events 365 wonderfully ingenious search engine.

Summer Activities for Travelers

Published by admin on Tagged Sports tourism, News & updates

You probably plan your next vacation these days. It is the right time for old dreams to come forward and decide your destination. Seeing new places and testing new experiences are part of the sensation of freedom and leisure. If you are a sport fan (Or maybe other family member is?) AND you are planning a vacation - I have some great news for you. This website can help you find sports events wherever you go to. You can find here every friendly match; every world tour; every car racing event right here. It is so easy it’s unbelievable! Just fill the search box on our home page with these two bits of information: Where and When. The list of events will surprise you, I am sure. Suddenly you will be able to see Manchester United in Munich, Liverpool FC in Thailand, or choose to get your Formula 1 ticket for a race in the UK, Spain or

Singapore… I think it is an excellent addition to every vacation!

One of my favorite summer tournaments is the traditional Emirates Cup which is hosted by Arsenal FC, should I find myself in London. This year the Audi Cup in Munich hosts some first rate clubs, so that’s another very good option. Other summer tournaments and friendly matches are also there, for everyone to enjoy:

·         Audi Cup, 29-30 July 2009, Munich

Participant clubs: Bayern Munich (hosting club), Manchester United, AC Milan, Boca Juniors

·         Emirates Cup, 1-2 August, 2009, London

Participant clubs: Arsenal FC (Hosting club), Atletico De Madrid, Paris Saint Germain, Rangers FC

You are welcome to purchase your sports tickets here. But even if you choose not to, all the information is right here, for free.

It is, supposedly, a vacant season, the summer. The leagues are on vacation and after having so much satisfaction watching Barcelona FC takes every possible title we are glad to have a month or two off. Or are we? No, no, no! The past season, with its excellent spirit only made us hungry for more. The clubs seem to feel our need and are preparing for summer tours full of friendly matches and tournaments. This year the Audi Cup in Munich hosts some first rate clubs, and other summer tournaments are also there, for everyone to enjoy, wherever they are. High Gear Formula 1 Tickets

Published by admin on Tagged Sports tourism, News & updates

Are you looking for Formula 1 tickets? The car racing season is in high gear after 6 races have already been completed. It seems that after those races, we will remember 2009 as one of the most surprising Grand Prix seasons ever. Here, at Sports Events 365 we sharpen our speedy reflexes in anticipation for the action! So far, the Ferrari team is not even close to reach the first place in the team contest while the surprising Mercedes Brown team is far above all the other teams and have 29.5 points gap. Last year’s drivers Contest Champion, Lewis Hamilton is far behind the leader Jenson Button. At the moment there is no realistic scenario in which he recaptures the 1st place. The season still has 11 races. If you are a motor sport fan, go ahead and choose your Formula 1 ticket to each of the remaining races; here is a list of my favorite circuits (But we sell tickets to all races):

·         Istanbul (Turkey), 5-7/6

·         Silverstone (UK), 19-21/6

·         Nuremburg (Germany), 10-12/7

The Grande Finale of the Football Season

Published by admin on Tagged Sports tourism, News & updates

The European football season is coming to an end, with the 3 largest European leagues that already have been decided.Inter Milan won its 4th Seria A title in a row and 17 in total. Without much effort on Inter’s side, the season was decided when its chief rival AC Milan lost to Udinese, and with it lost the last chance to catch up. The bad news is that one of the top class players in the last few years, Luis Figo, announced that he will retire in the end of the season. In England, Manchester united achieved their third Premiership title in a row, the 11th in sir’s Alex Ferguson era, and the 18th in total (The same as Liverpool FC). Although winning the title, Manchester united still has one big goal to conquer- the UEFA Champion’s League trophy. On May 27th, football fans from all over the globe will hold their breath. Manchester United vs. Barcelona FC, the greatest and most interesting encounter that was seen in many years between the two giants (and two ways to play the game). Who will win? My favorite is Barcelona FC, who won the La liga title, after Real Madrid lost the match last week.If you plan to be in one of these leagues before the season ends, you need Sports Events 365 football tickets. You can use our sports Search Engine for the best seats, prices and service! It is most likely that you will find yourself in the middle of championship celebration in some grounds, so please send us photos! We like that.

Champions League Tickets to the 2009 Final

Published by admin on Tagged Sports tourism, News & updates

What is in every sports fan’s mind these days is how to get to the Final in Rome. Very few lucky people got their ticket from the UEFA draw (I didn’t…). What will the rest do? They search for these little plastic treasures everywhere. Prices are high but here, at Sports Events 365, we are hopeful. We hope to find UEFA Champions League tickets to all of our customers that are determined to fly to Rome. It’s not an easy task but we will do our best. Of course, every day brings with it new updates on the prices, so it is best to check for the tendency and buy at the right time. We suggest not waiting too long. Typically, prices go up as the match gets nearer. And part of doing our best is to warn you from Web charlatans. There are a few thumb rules to follow:1.     ALWAYS READ THE SMALL LETTERS. Every site has its terms and conditions. Read them before you complete your purchase.2.     Ask around. Have any of your friends ever used the offered service? Look for other users’ opinions. That is our strength as Web users – the information we share with others.3.     Read the “About us”. You can learn a lot from the way a company introduces itself.4.     Learn as much as possible about the process and ask many questions. How will I get the ticket? Which category am I getting ect. UEFA published an official seating chart for the Champions League Final (Using the Stadio Olimpico chart, but colored specifically for the final). My final advice is HAVE FUN. It is a lifetime experience, a dream come true, to watch such a match from the stands, and actually BE there. So, if you are there, ignore small difficulties and problems and just ENJOY YOURSELF. After all, only 72,700 people will get to be there to see Manchester United vs. Barcelona FC. All the other hundreds of millions will see it on TV.

Champions League 2009 - The Classic Final

Published by admin on Tagged Sports tourism, News & updates

After a long, hard season, the 2 top European clubs, Manchester United and FC Barcelona will meet on May 27th in the Stadio Olimpico in Rome for this year UEFA Champions League Final.European champion from the 2008 season, Manchester United, will try to win back to back title after last year penalty shot-out win against Chelsea FC. This time it won’t be easy - FC Barcelona is in great shape. The clash between two of the most adorned clubs in Europe, that share between them 5 continental titles (3 of Manchester Utd and 2 for FC Barcelona) will bring together the world’s best football players, Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to great head to head encounter.Ronaldo gave great performance in the Quarter and Semi, scoring 3 goals in 2 matches and carried his teammates to their 2nd consecutive finals. On the other hand, Messi, which shined during the whole Spanish League season showed poor preformence in both semi final legs. All in all, no football fan could have hoped for a better or more thrilling final. The demand for the UEFA Champions League tickets is at its peak, and prices are high. Not much is left from this season. Better enjoy the very last swell before the summer. We have some clients (not every one can afford it, really) that went to the Quarter and Semi matches and plan to be in Rome as well. I say – use www.sportsevents365.com for updates (we update ALL THE TIME). Sports Events 365 team is doing its best to find the cheapest tickets. I don’t think any football fan can think of a better way to spend money at the moment!

Champions League Semi Final 2nd Leg

Published by admin on Tagged Sports tourism, News & updates

After the UEFA Champions League semi final’s 1st leg, it seems that everything is possible and no team is closer than the other to the Final in Rome. Arsenal FC will host the 2nd leg against Manchester United. Although the European champion dominated the first leg, they only won by one goal, which means that the Gunners can change the odds at their home, with the enthusiastic support of their fans.Chelsea FC will host FC Barcelona after a 0-0 draw in Barcelona. The match that promised so much did not reach a climax, and the Brits managed to destroy all the Catalonian attempts to attack their goal. If only Real Madrid had managed to do the same last Saturday! In Stamford Bridge, Chelsea’s home, the match will be decided in 90, 120 minutes or in penalty shot-out. If Chelsea players will manage to stop Barcelona from scoring, they will do a great thing indeed, as Barcelona IS doing wonders this season. The great atmosphere in the stands at Stamford Bridge and at the Emirates promises fantastic matches. Sports Events 365 offers you football tickets for these two great London experiences! If you are interested in other UEFA Champions League tickets or other football tickets simply contact us, or order online at www.sportsevents365.com .
