Summertime Soccer II

Here’s a list of additional summertime Soccer events that will help you pass the dreary time between Soccer seasons. v  Euro2008: Pretty obvious, isn’t it? You need to go to Switzerland or Austria for it but that’s cool. I mean really COOL. You can catch a bit of snow between matches. Italy vs. Netherlands and Italy vs. France are the most sought after Soccer tickets at the moment, but a few other matches are interesting as well. Of course you can wait for the quarter finals (and on) but ticket prices will be much higher by the time we’ll know who won the first stage. 

v  Emirates Cup: AHA. Good. London (they speak English just like you. No guaranty you will understand what they say, though.). BEAUTIFUL stadium and two days of sizzling Football (they call it FOOTBALL even if you don’t, AND they drive on the wrong side of the road, so don’t drive. Use the local public transportation. You can find the information about public transportation to the stadium in Sports Events 365′ site.). 

v  Friendly matches in the USA (land of Soccer). A wonderful chance to see some European and South American clubs and national teams. NOT a full list:

·         Two FAB matches at the Giants Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ:

USA vs. Argentina on June 6^th.

NY Red Bulls vs. FC Barcelona on August 6^th

·         Two FAB Matches in Chicago:

Mexico vs. Peru on June 8^th.

FC Barcelona vs. Guadalajara on August 8^th.
