Allured by the fresh and scented air of a neighboring Finance firm, Sports Events team joined efforts in persuading the CEO to renovate or leave forever… Twice our good luck stroke, and it so happened that the Dream Office next door was soon to become available and our new Deputy to the CEO decided we had to move in. It was a bloody affair to chase all the sleek brokers out, but we deal with Sports, we’re all harden with working late! They were no match for us. Victory came swiftly and we gained the trophy. It is a corner suite with large windows, lots of fresh air and light, lined with wooden floor boards (NO CARPET). Sefi Donner, our CEO was cornered too, and, with a true team spirit Sports Events people moved the tables, chairs and the odd tangle of computers, wires and keyboards that is in the heart of our operation. Some of us worked from home so that every demand for sports tickets will be answered. So, I am sure not one of you noticed while we had a great time eating cookies and drinking coke and putting everything together again. Such a change from sitting, gaping at our computers all day! It took some time to get used to the better conditions, YEH, about 5 minutes. I must say, it is just like an awkward girl waking up one day to discover she is beautiful, or a caterpillar turning into a butterfly, we’re GOOD! I hope you can hear the satisfaction in our voices when you call for your summertime Football tickets, or for next year Premier League tickets. Show this post to YOUR manager if the carpet in your office is rotting and tell him it is good to invest in one’s workers!
