December’s Knockout Sporting Events

Published by Gonoa Green on Tagged News & updates

Most of you, dear users, open www.sportsevents365.com to look for Football matches in Spain or in England. In fact, Football is the thing, as far as we can tell (and we CAN tell because we look at the stats.). BUT we would like to suggest to you all to keep an open mind on the matter and try watching other sporting events. I love watching car racing and motorbikes taking the curve in high speed. I am ashamed to say that even the horrible accidents that happen from time to time in races are exciting. You kinda try not to think about the real people that just got screwed up inside the car, or flew of the motorbike into the air and then down to meet the hard road in a clash. It is fascinating anyway, the chaotic moment in which everything goes wrong in a race. I also like watching Basketball because the game is fast. And I enjoy horse jumping competitions, but I can not defend THAT. It is too weird.

Why don’t you try something new? Why not take a dive into Tennis or Boxing? December is a month for planning New Year resolutions. So, I’ve decided to focus on other sports types in December for you. On the subject of Football in December you can read in a previous post. Here is a list of sporting events with a twist, and the twist is: NO FOOTBALL. (Am I shooting my own leg?)

ô  Let’s start with England, Ireland, France, Wales and Scotland: What have they got in common? That’s right – The Heineken Cup. Rounds 3 and 4 will be played between December 7 and 16. It’s the early stages, I know, but if you watch Rugby for the first time you don’t want to pay semi-final prices for the tickets.

ô  Basketball. Basketball is a favorite of mine. Two international leagues are on during December – The EuroLeague and ULEB Cup. Just use our search engine to find what Basketball matches will be played wherever you plan to go. It’s all over Europe.

ô  Canada and the USA can take you on a trip to Hockeyland. The National Hockey League is ON. Fans of this charming icy sport will find tens of matches during the month of December. Here is a general link for Canada’s NHL matches.

ô  I will close this list of sporting events in December which are NOT Football with South Africa. They live under the British influence in Sports and so they have lots of Cricket and some Rugby. If you have relatives in SA and you wish to have a sunny Christmas – it’s time to pick up the phone (it’s in your pocket!) and call them now. My in-laws are ex-South Africans so I like SA. My father in law even enjoys Rugby, but although I’ve tried more than once – he will not expose the secrets of Cricket to me. He dismisses me with a vague remark on the impossible length of each match. Here it is.

I hope I gave you some new ideas about sports events in December. You can always use our site to buy all the sporting tickets you need. And leave some useful or intelligent comments! All I get is Via-’gra spammers and porn junk. Let’s hear from you, people! (Send a Christmas card. Oh, No! Don’t send!)
