Most of the leading clubs in the major European leagues have established a championship by now, or are expected to do so next week. The fact that most championships can be predicted by now is not that bad. We are free to watch the players give their best show, and some matches end with a high score, which is better than simple, defensive, 1:0 victories. The center of attention and excitement is in Great Britain, where the fight over the Premier League championship competes with the Champions League final stages. Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool must take decisions as to where to put maximum pressure, and where to relax for a bit, maybe reserve the top players and give a chance for those we did not see much of this season. It is unfortunate for us all that so much of what is left of this season is there, in the UK. London sports tickets are hard to get and Manchester’s tickets even harder.
